In short
- We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form, plus visit statistics if you allow them.
- Analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics”, and a browser privacy signal counts as no.
- We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
- You can ask us to see, correct, or delete what we hold, subject to records the law requires us to keep.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how Wayve Capital Management LLC (“Wayve Capital”, “we”, “us”) handles information collected through wayvecapital.com (the “site”). Wayve Capital is an SEC-registered investment adviser based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This policy applies only to the site. If you are a client, our separate client privacy notice, provided as required by Regulation S-P, explains how we handle the nonpublic personal information you give us as a client. Where the two differ for a client, the client privacy notice governs.
2. Information we collect
- Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive your first and last name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. To catch mistyped addresses, we check that your email’s domain (the part after the @) can receive mail, using Google’s public domain-name lookup service; the rest of your address is not sent for this check.
- Analytics. Only if you choose “Allow analytics”: pages viewed, the site that referred you, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and a random identifier stored in a cookie.
- Server records. Our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., keeps short-lived technical records such as IP address, time, and page requested, to deliver and secure the site.
We do not ask for account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial information through the site. Please do not send them through the contact form.
3. Cookies and Google Analytics
The site works without cookies. It sets no advertising or social media cookies, and it does not embed videos or other content that tracks you; media items open on their own platforms. To avoid asking twice, the site remembers your cookie choice (“analytics” or “essential”) in your own browser’s storage; that note never leaves your device.
We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages are read and which sites send visitors to us. It runs only after you choose “Allow analytics” in the cookie notice. If you choose “Essential only”, or make no choice, nothing is sent to Google.
When analytics is on, Google sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_8EHRL83K6F, that keep a random identifier for up to 2 years. Choosing “Essential only” later deletes them. We have set Google Analytics to:
- keep event data for 14 months, then delete it
- leave Google Signals and advertising features off, so the data is not used for advertising or linked to Google accounts
- not share data with other Google products
- run no advertising tags; Google’s consent settings mark advertising storage and ad data as refused for every visitor
Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google's own use of the data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal (a privacy setting some browsers offer), we treat it as “Essential only” and don’t ask.
4. How we use, share, keep, and protect information
Use. We use what you send us to reply to you and to understand and improve the site. We also keep records where securities laws require it.
We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Service providers. These companies process information for us under contract and only to provide their service:
- Netlify, Inc.: hosts the site
- Google LLC: stores contact form messages in Google Sheets, checks email domains, delivers messages to us by email, and runs Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics only if you allow them
- Microsoft Corporation: our business email, where your messages arrive
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to regulators such as the SEC, or to protect our rights and the security of the site.
Retention. We keep contact messages for 14 months and then delete them, unless securities recordkeeping rules require us to keep a particular message longer. Episode sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months.
Security. The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to messages is limited to the people who answer them. No method of transmission is completely secure, so please do not send confidential account details through the site.
5. Your choices and rights
Choices. You can use the site without giving us anything. You can turn analytics off at any time with “Cookie settings”.
Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from the site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Depending on where you live, including several US states and the European Union and United Kingdom, you may have further rights, such as to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Visitors outside the United States. The site is run from the United States, and information is processed there. For visitors in the EU or UK, we rely on your consent for analytics and on our legitimate interest in replying to messages you send.
Children. The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Other websites. Links to third-party sites, including the media items we list, are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes. We may update this policy. The date below shows when it last changed, and significant changes will be noted on this page.
Contact. Send privacy questions or requests through the contact form or to AB@wayvecapital.com. We will reply within 30 days.
